And to add to that, our cheers are great. The U-C-O-N-N cheer perfectly caps a big run (teed up by the opposing team's timeout) and the UCONN-HUSKIES-WOOF chant is iconic, too.

When my daughter was 1-2 years old, she had a stuffed Husky that played the fight song in her crib. I had the baby monitor in front of me after putting her to bed one time and when I looked down at it, she was squeezing the paw to make the fight song play. When it ended, she would squeeze it again to make it play again. I have video of it but can’t figure out how to post in whatever format it was in.

I always though the fight song was top-notch, even when we were in the Yankee Conference. It was a good move when the cheerleaders changed the choreography so they didn't have to end the song balanced on one foot. The song even got a shout-out in Shouts and Murmur's 20 years ago.
