The Top Ten Old Big East Husky Moments

I love this line...

No. 1: Three for all time (vs. Villanova, Feb. 11, 1989) — The Huskies were leading the Big East race but were still chasing Villanova as the Wildcats made their way to the Storrs Field House. UConn was 0-14 against coach Harry Perretta’s club including a 63-54 loss a month earlier.
But before a UConn-record crowd of 685, Heidi Robbins had the magic touch. Bascom (24 points, 11 rebounds) kept the Huskies close. Then trailing by two, Robbins hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key at the buzzer to give UConn a 64-63 victory.
