The Three Number Challenge

Hello all,
Had an interesting idea for a post and conversation starter so I figured I'd share. I'm on the board often but don't post, just enjoy reading the banter back and forth . That said, I enjoy reading about and am a fan of all things UConn athletics as a former athlete.

Anyways, here's my question:
- You can only pick three jersey numbers to build the best possible UConn team (i.e. 1, 2, 3) or whatever you would like. Then comes the fun part, defend it against the Boneyard haha

- Only one catch, you can only use EITHER 3 or 23 as one of your numbers, not both.

23 -- Maya, KML, Swin (her frosh season), Rita, Wilnet, KJ
10 -- Sue, Laura Lishness
31 -- Tina, Stef

If you choose 31, you'd have the greatest front line of all time: Dolson, Charles, Sauer, Jessica Moore.

You were right on picking 23. That's got the greatest collection of talent of any number. I'd also go with Sue at number 10. Got to have a couple of PGs (Rita/Sue), as WCBB is a guards game. If you really want to roll over their heads with guards, take MoJett at 4 as well.

All you need is a center. Though you could get away with Wilnett and Maya up front no problem. KML at the 3, Rita and Sue at the guard spots, and a bench of MoJett and KJ. Tough to beat that.

Oh, you can only use a number once. So if you pick 23, you can't have any other numbers with a 2 or 3 in them. The rest would have to be 0, 1, 4, and 5.

That's actually not how I meant it, but another interesting idea haha. I had intended for only 3 jersey numbers to be used, but not a limit on the numerals. Could be 3, 13, and 33 if you wanted...

Well by NF's rules, #31, and #23 (or #3, your choice) are a given. Then really you don't even need to add another number.

Say #31 and #23

Posts - Charles, Dolson, JMoore
Forwards - Cash, Crockett, Berube
Wings - MMoore, KML
Guards - RWilliams, KJ

Start Charles, Cash, MMoore, KML and Williams, done deal.

I'd take #31 instead of one of those 2. #10 would be a good one to go with them.

In fact - knowing it isn't allowed but - the all 3 team of 3, 23, and 33 would be pretty great
