This appears to be totally wrong. No one is leaving the ACC until 2036 based on the GOR.

"It isn’t a cash cow, doesn’t bring anything to the table on the football field and doesn’t bring in a high enough percentage of the New York City market."

Say what? Even Roy Kramer would disagree with most of that.

I've read more plausible scenarios on The WVU Realignment Board than speculated on in this "article." UNC will leave the throne they occupy in The ACC to join The B1G right after Michigan announces they are leaving to join The SEC.

I'll take it. I wonder if this young author, being connected to Ohio State and Maryland, even knows about the connection of Jay Bursen and Gary Williams to UConn.

"Andrew is a 2013 graduate of Ohio State University, where he spent three years covering Ohio State football and men’s basketball for The Lantern, the school’s student newspaper. After graduation, Andrew wrote for Rivals.com before joining the staff at The Spun. Growing up, Andrew was a fan of Nebraska football – his mom is from the state – and Maryland basketball, being from Washington, D.C. At this point, he’s glad he’s a journalist and doesn’t have to pick a side.

While in New Orleans for the Final Four in 2012, he ran into Charles Barkley at a casino. It remains the most thrilling moment of his life. Email Andrew."
