Or Patrick "for the win" then nothing. They don't like us.

Did Ollie do a Lil Calhoun hop? Probably showed off a 30 inch vert

LOL Len Elmore suggesting runnin' a Calhoun at them as Boatright is attempting the winning shot followed by dead air silence. The stuff that the website Awful Announcing was created for.

That layup under the hoop was better. Anyone got that vid?
It's on the ESPN video that accompanies the game summary article on their website. It was beautiful. Unfortunately I was already studying the insides of my eyelids and am just now getting caught up on what I missed. The late starts kill me.

Len Elmore anecdote: 1999 Big East title game, UConn putting an game-opening blitz on a really good St. John's team. In the midst of one of the signature plays of the year -- Hamilton rebound, to Ricky, to Khalid, to Freeman on the lob for the dunk, ball never touches the floor -- Elmore is blabbing through the entire play as Mike Tirico breaks in with a "Freeman on the fly!" when he slams it in. Nice to see Elmore is just as bad 16 years later.

Wow I didn't realize how pathetic that "call" was in the moment. Those two both need to be put out to pasture

As much as we bash ESPN that beautiful basket has been played all morning including it being #8 in top 10. I love what the ESPN announcers are saying about UConn and how March is their time of year.

I was at that game. the passing we had going on was amazing. But that one where the ball never hit the floor was stunning. We were whooping it up and there were St. Johns alum near us looking at us like it was the opera and we were making too much noise. They left early.
