Opening where the teams comes out is way too small. Very similar.

Look on Google Maps. The opening is smaller than one might think from afar. But you are right the real Rent has 3 blue sections on both side with the middle one on the 50. UConn related - the big lights in the 4 corners represented, the smaller lights on top of the stadium, and the mini press box (aka known as "Brutal DJ Booth"). Not UConn related - the 4 rows of blue and is that an "H" on the 50?

I also looked up the builder, Ellerbe Becket, and all their stadiums. Nothing matches the Rent. Has to be the Rent doctored somehow or its just the Bizzaro version of Rentschler Field.

Looked at Google Maps Satellite view and that pic again. Its a doctored version of the rent. Give away is the small lights on top of the stadium. There are 5 on the East side. 2 perfectly spaced on each side of the 50 and then one right on the 50. Look at the doctored NBC SUV version again and you can see a faint light post where the 50 would be. So because they doctor it to make a 4th blue section the 50 yard line light gets pushed over and if you ignore the faint light post you now have 2 light posts on the left side before the 50 then three on the other side of the 50 and they're not symmetrical.

Anything in your research reveal if the pic from the OP was taken 5 minutes before kickoff or 5 minutes into the 3rd Qtr?

That picture was taken standing RIGHT BEHIND my seat location. Sadly, the stadium looked like that far too often in 4th quarters this past season.

I'm gonna say The Rent with some green screen photoshop Hollywood magic-work. They didn't film there...just used an image of it overlaid with a different field. If you look close you can see the advertising on the blue around the stadium that matches perfect. Interesting?

There was an "H" in the middle of the field and nonsense in the end zone. It's the Rent just videoshopped. Only other choice was RU but that would have required an entire makeover.

Rent videoshopped likely because UConn/state didn't give consent for the stadium to be shown on air or filmed in, thus they can't use an actual picture of it, but anyone who knows what the Rent looks like knows that's what it is.
