The Predictable; The Unpredictable; and Who Is That?

1.) The Predictable, AG hits a long three. He then proceeds to wilt on the free throw line and twice drive into the forest, gets turned over and Houston’s up six with under 10 seconds.
2.) The Unpredictable. Gaffney scores on a layup cutting the lead to 4 with 7.3 seconds left. With a timeout called, a technical is assessed against a Houston player saying something to DH as he, the player, was walking off the court. Gaffney hits both free throws, cutting the lead to 2. UConn gets the ball back still with 7.3 seconds.
3.)? What am I seeing? UConn sets up an inbound for Akok underneith, no it’s for Vital cutting off a double screen,yes it’s Tyler Phommachanh for the 3; but he’s out for the year.
But of course It’s someone never previously seen before who apparently just appeared out of the locker room. Let’s get the ball to this unrecognizable imposter who will clearly be able to make a game winning play.
How did this work out? Yep back to the predicable. Not so good. And who was this masked man?

The kid was in the game to foul when no time came off the clock they couldn’t sub him out Houston left him wide open and he missed this all happened bc of predictable bad refs if we didn’t have our whole team fouled out at the time we wouldn’t have to bring a walk on in to foul

We had Whalley, who had a hell of a game and Carlton watching from the bench, either of which would have helped on the offensive glass with a missed shot anyway. Not a fan of throwing a kid who hasn't played a meaningful minute in his career in that situation. That being said the kid was almost a hero, hats off to him for having the balls to attempt that shot.
