Analysis

Membou's overall Pro Football Focus (PFF) grade saw a significant decrease from Week 1 (89.1) to Week 2 (63.3), indicating a less effective performance against the Bills.
He allowed three pressures and a quarterback hit against the Bills, whereas he allowed zero pressures and zero quarterback hits in Week 1.
While his run-blocking performance was initially elite in Week 1, ranking second among all tackles with a 90.3 PFF run-blocking grade, it dipped to 6.3% impact run-block rate in Week 2.
Sep 16, 2025 — Membou saw a sharp decline from Week 1 (89.1 PFF overall grade), recording a 63.3 PFF overall grade against the Bills in Week 2. He had a particularly rough day... Despite the dip in performance, Membou still ranks highly among rookie tackles in pressure rate allowed (5.4%), PFF run-blocking grade (86.9%), impact run-block rate (18.9%), and defeated rate (5.7%) after Week 2. My notes: I'll look past the numbers a little. They were down 10-0 before the offense really tied their shoes. In the first 10 minutes of the game, they had 4 plays for 0 yds total. Down 20-3 at the half, the Bills just pinned their ears back. They knew there was no chance of losing that game. Also, they ran Hall and Allen 12 times....for a team that is supposedly built around the run. Allen has 8 attempts through 2 games after hearing how he stole the spotlight in the preseason. So, I place this more on the coaching staff for being unprepared on both sides of the ball over blaming a rookie executing in a "normal" game.
