WKU also tried to join when it first moved up to FBS level football. Also, I disagree that it will be a few years before FSU and Clemson leave the ACC. There will be some sort of settlement between them and the ACC before the end of this year and I see those moves happening in time for the 2025 season, or 2026 at the latest.
