bcs is a #'s only ranking no coaches voting. 8 team bcs playoff(4-autos), 4 highest ranking bcs #'s after 4 auto bids make the 8. 15(30 teams and you must be above .500, not at .500 to play) other bowl games that are played between dec 14th to dec 31st. they are played wed/thur/fri nights-2 per night(east coast bowl/west coast bowls for tv time). conf ship games are the 1st week of december, turkey week is the ultimate rival week(tv will pay$$).

8 team playoff: auto- seeded 1's and 4 opens are 2's
round 1- is the 2nd weekend in dec, home game for autobid.
round 2- is weekend after xmas, home is highest ranking
round 3-neutral site between last 2 teams. that site can be fl, tx, az, cali or ny. it won't be picked until the 2 teams are set, it will be based on fanbase following and school location. for example if usc plays fsu then tx is the pick. if nd plays unc gt then nyc would be the pick. etc...game can be a set date/timein early janurary.
