Bria has lost all confidence in her shooting. There was a time when she was surprised when any shot that left her hands didn't go in...now, the opposite prevails, and this bodes ill. We cannot get where we want to be in the post-season without more offensive output from her. Her other contributions on the floor remain strong, but if she's not a force in putting points up, we're in trouble. Geno is doing his best with her, leaving her out there and encouraging her to shoot her way out of it, but what a disappointing year for her.

Yes she is having a bad year and who knows how much of that is due to health, but the larger team issue is overall guard play -- especially speed, distribution and turnovers. Huskies need a point guard. Even though Griner got hers, Sims and Baylor's other guards are what beat the Huskies. Was the same when ND beat UConn.

Better guard play would enable Steph to play down low more which would mean more easy baskets and offensive rebounds. It is fair to be critical of an AA's performance, but the issue/concern is greater than just her.

Don't know that we can't win it all without her. And we don't know that we can win it with her hitting on all cylinders. For one thing, Kelly is scoring a lot more than I for one expected, so there is an option there that wasn't so obvious coming into this year. But BH certainly is having her problems.

Honestly, without KML, we don't have a consistent 3 point shooter. All of our other 3 point shooters are in a funk right now. They shoot great against lesser teams and against top 2 teams, they can't buy a basket...Really didn't anticipate this before. This makes the job so much harder for KML and Stef.

I should note that in saying Bria's Lost Season I am making no judgment on the reasons for it. She has had a lot of things thrown at her in the last 9 months. I am simply noting that I doubt Bria envisioned her play as it has been this year. She has high standards and expectations.
