I suspect it will be well written, but I am not sure what is left to say about that era that hasn't been covered in other mob movies. We all get that it was a good time to be a mobster in New York pre-RICO. The Sopranos was interesting because they were mobsters living an upper middle class lifestyle in a time when the mob was in decline. There was a juxtaposition and a natural conflict in the show that was interesting.
This sounds like just another movie about the mob in the 60's. OK.
