I've held off any comparisons between this year and 2009-2010 until now.

I remember that year the team stayed on the bubble until the very end (owed in large part to 3 wins against top 10 teams) - I think until the last 2 or so games in the regular season.

I hope I'm wrong, but the trajectory and play is eerily similar to two years ago.

This team regardless of their performance up to this point has valuable tournament experience. 2009-10 had limited in comparison. That experience could pay serious dividends in the dance. There is opportunity to SALSA our way through that bracket as the magical #11 seed.
