The time when basketball is over and football practice starts in August. Well Cuse has Lacrosse but still it is a minor diversion. Anyways wishing you guys relief from this APR BS...the rule is really stupid as we are relying on immature soon to be multimillionaires to juggle schoolwork with prepping for the NBA. Cuse could be right behind you guys in 2014...we don't know yet.

I never get guys that want to see your rivals on probation...I'd rather beat you at full strength and both teams playing for something.

Baseball is fun to watch in person once in awhile...but it lost me as a fan after the strikes and the incessant delays: chew, spit, scratch, ready to pitch, step out of the box, changing pitches, changing pitchers, etc....maybe when I retire I'll take it up again.

It is an awful time huh Mark? I like baseball enough but it takes a long time to get there.......the passion for the Huskies and March Madness cannot be replaced!...agreed

August to March is my favorite time for sports: each sport (football and basketball) have their own rhythm to the season. I prefer the NCAA tourney over the bowl game structure but I'm not sure how an 8 or 16 team playoff could work that won't screw the lower and mid level Division 1 schools and the existing bowl structure. I actually think it is a nice reward for the teams and fans to take a 7-5 team to a bowl game but nothing beats opening weekend of the NCAA BB tourney.

Agreed with wanting to play rivals at full strength...Here's hoping for a time when all of the 'peripheral' issues are put to rest for all of us.
