Why so pessimistic? I am thinking 7-0 in that stretch.

The Big East should have paid us a huge fee to join the conference. They needed us more than we needed them. In four conference games we have already added major value to the collection of tiny Catholic schools.

Not so many rock fights early on that year. If my memory serves me correctly we pretty much annihilated everyone sans the the Buffalo and Georgetown games. To be fair there wasn’t as more parity throughout college bb either.

BE 4th strongest conference this year which is lower than it's average rank since 2013, but still ahead of the SEC and PAC. once again it absolutely blows the american peasant conference away, which should get fewer teams into the tourney than the A10 and WCC.

I want to believe but I am not yet sold on how good Creighton or the rest of the Big East is. UConn has had a fairly forgiving schedule. Creighton, Marquette, Butler, DePaul.

Of course, this paints a different picture. UConn at 18.
