While starring for UConn women's basketball team, home-schooled student doesn't forget her roots.

"No one appreciates the storybook leap that Moriah Jefferson has made in her basketball-playing career more than she does.

“It has been interesting,” Jefferson said.

Two years ago, Jefferson went from a home-school environment at her family’s Glenn Heights residence to earning a basketball scholarship at one of the NCAA’s most-decorated college athletic programs."

Great article......... I didn't realize that MoJeff has won some type of National Championship in basketball every year since the eighth grade. Counting middle-school , high school , college , nationally , and internationally........Outstanding. MoJeff is indeed Movin' On Up....Up the career charts at UConn and On Up to more National Championships.

Maybe MoJett is the real queen of the post season.

Kelly Faris won 4 state titles and 2 NCAA titles in 8 years.

Maya Moore won 3 state titles and 2 NCAA titles in 8 years.

MoJett has won 5 national HS titles and 2 NCAA titles in 7 years. Yikes!

Our 2012 recruiting class is blazing their way into the record books. Can they go 4 for 4? Can Morgan go 5 for 5?
