Another T/O issue is traveling. Probably 4-5 turnovers per game are careless walking violations. One a game maybe ok but not the number we are called for every game this year. Watching the SH game, I had to wonder if Aubrey had ever played the game before. She seemed to tghink it is ok to take a few steps before ever putting the ball on the floor. In the 1st half yesterday, she took a stroll right in front of the SH bench and their coach went nuts yelling at the official who was under the basket. I suspect no "T" was given since the ref (and the other 2 refs) knew she had missed an obvious call, but not to worry- a make up call was made a short time later. Later kin the half AG made a similar violation on the camera side of the court, was whistled for the walk and looked at everyone like she didn't understand how the call was made! Coaches please go to the tape with her. This is also one of the first games that I don't recall Liya being called due to shuffling her feet in the deep post area as she was turning to take a shot. Good job AE. Another sure travel call each game is Caroline and to a lesser extent Lou. And finally on the traveling issue, Nika was called for one, right in front of C Dailey and according to Meghan, Chris told Nika that the call was correct. I have watched the game twice and I still think the call was wrong or at the very least questionable. My point being, a big piece of our T/O problem is walking call, not just passes.. Players with the tlent we have should not be guilty of all of these careless traveling violations.
