There has been discussion about who is the MVP of our team.
Tonight, for me, puts a heavy check in the "DHam" column. W/out him in, our offense is anemic, and, but for Gibbs, we're losing at the half. W/him, our offense is moving, unpredictable, effective.

Gibbs is a great shooter.
Miller is a great glue guy.
Purvis can get hot, and put up big numbers on O.
DHam is the MVP and the critical component of our team . . . and it's not even close.

After two games? But who really cares who is what at this point

KO should have benched DHam after letting that dude hit another 3. But agreed, DHam is looking solid. Looks like he's stepping up to the challenge of being "the man" on the team

Great second half for Hamilton minus the 3 pointers allowed… Points, Assists, Boards, running the Offense… Kid did it all…

The starting five all do different things very well and they seem to fit very well together.

The bench was much better this game. Adams still has some freshman things to work out but Nolan, Facey and Cassel all did good work. Calhoun looks like he is moving better than last year, but still isn't hitting his shots.

DHam's vastly improved handle allows the offense to run through him now.

Last year, his handle caused him to get out of control and turn the ball over too frequently.

Now, his exceptional rebounding gets us the ball and his handle enables him to get out and run and use to his size/speed/vision skills combination in the open floor and puts the defense on their heels. With him controlling and pushing the ball we are very unpredictable and versatile offensively. Gibbs/Purv can stroke it from 3 on either side of DHam and Miller/Brimah can receive lobs from him.

Agreed that DHam is the key to this team. His game is so well-rounded. Looking very promising early on.

He's also much stronger.

DHam can penetrate better than anyone, I was hoping to see Jalen do that but he didn't tonight and he is a freshman, seemed a bit tentative.

DHam driving down the middle reminds me of the Navy QB running the triple option, with AB and SM as tailbacks.
