Not that a CBSSports.com article in December deserves a response, but this is a terrible "Power" ranking. Everyone knows that Allen FH played into Kansas's win last week, and we would be favored on a neutral floor. Oklahoma at 9, above Marquette? JMU has a case to be AP Top 25 (not a great one IMO) but does anyone really think they are a Top-20 team?

What's the point of calling this a Power ranking?

I believe doomed is to counteract a jinx or negative mojo. Kind of like the proverbial string of garlic around your neck to ward off vampires.
