So this big wind is currently off of the coast of Florida. Watching the Weather Channel, there are 3 different models of where it will impact the mainland, anywhere from D.C. to New Haven. It will occur in the Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe.. we're in the calm before the storm.
Let's take this analogy to Big East Media negotiations. (also the calm before the storm). Starting on All Saints Day (Nov. 1st for the uninitiated) the Big East is emancipated from the chain of ESPN dictatorship. The hurricane will wipe away the tyranny with devastating swiftness & wreak havoc on the mothership's chokehold. After the storm, they'll be left to clean up the mess of their own making. The Big East will wake up to the clean air of unfettered negotiations. The rebuilding will be thorough.
