Sorry to crash the rebounding-bashing party, but I just wanted to talk about the guards for a minute.
Dom Amore tweeted after the game that Shabazz asked to play more point guard, and so far it's paid off. Here's some stats from the past two games (yes, I know who the competition was):
Boatright - 23.5 ppg, 17-24 FG, 7-12 3-pointers (His jumper has just looked better, too. Much less herky-jerky.)
Calhoun - 19.5 ppg, 14-21 FG, 6-9 3-pointers
And the team has gone for its second and third-highest outputs at 84 and 88 points, shooting 66% and 51% in the process. The only time they scored more was the double-overtime win over Quinnipiac...when they scored 89 points. The assist/turnover ratio has been 42/20.
Oh, and Shabazz: 15 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 7 apg, 2.5 TO, 2.5 spg, 9-15 FG
