I thought this looked promising, but it has exceeded my expectations. Pleasantly surprised by how little we see mutant powers used, and the overall tone of the show. It will be interesting to see how it develops. Cast has been strong, including Stephen Moyer (True Blood) and Amy Acker (Person of Interest) and the guy who plays Thunderbird is good.

I like the show, but it seems like a Heroes ripoff, but not quite as good.

Never saw Heroes, so maybe that helps in my case.

I enjoyed most of Season 1 of Heroes, but it trailed off toward the end. Season 2 was unbearable and I gave up on it fairly quickly.

I'm liking The Gifted so far. Hopefully it continues to develop as the season goes on.
