The Big 9's deadline to announce their 2012 football schedule is up in the next 24-36 hours. It should be an interesting day/night. I wonder if they are working on getting an extension with the networks to push the release date out a few days/weeks.

I don't understand the problem. Is the current B12 contract so overvalued that their TV parters would trash the relationship by cutting the payments to below the pro-rate share for 9 teams?

If each school still gets its 20mil or whatever, why would they care?

It's human nature not to appreciate it what you have but to be unhappy someone has more. It is human nature to be upset about any decrease even if the result still puts you ahead of most if not all other people.

This is one of the reasons behind the movement of the BE teams.
