We just started watching it last week. It's a "psychological thriller" taking place in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The 2 main characters are the serial killer (James Dornan) and the lead investigator (Gillian Anderson). It is only 3 seasons to date, and each season is 5-6 episodes. No word on if a 4th season is in the works or not.
We are mid-way thru season 2, and really like it so far. Aside from Anderson's "so-so" British accent the acting and writing is solid, and they do a good job building on each episode. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a new series. It's not gratuitous in terms of the violence or sex, but very well done.
