Wake me up if a G5 makes the semis. 8 is the correct number, they know it but the money and protecting the P2 bids made them go to 12. The extra games are the reason for 16 but that will end up killing the playoff with meaningless opening round games, more injuries, and fewer NFL hopefuls playing as soon as a top 5 projected pick gets hurt playing Missouri in the opening round.
