The ones who were there were into the game. And stop being emo.
Yeah I said I said it sue me. CT is such a fair weather state go I'm just telling it like it is.
I'm willing to bet that there are a lot of Husky fans from Fairfield county who are also fans of the denizens of Citi Field. I will cut them some slack this time only. (World Series, traveling to the Rent during rush hour, Halloween eve). Jeez, how often do the Amazins get this far, And they were down 2-zip before last night's contest? The team was pumped up all night - dancing around on the sidelines & seemed loose and having a good time. Played their best game in about 3 years I think. The fans that showed were fine - it's too bad we only got 23K. (There aren't that many Met fans in CT, are there?) Disappointing. They missed a great effort by the home team.
CT fans suck blah blah blah. I would like to see the turnout some of these SEC schools would get if it was 40-45 degrees by halftime and their team had the last 5 years our team had.
hjoerring said:How serious are you? Baylor, UT, UW and even Stanford stadiums are packed even when they are 0-5. It's Saturday and we are playing at home- of course you go to the game. That is the difference between FB schools and others. It's a shameful call that your school is playing a must win game and you stay at home because they lost 2 games in a row- and 2 games few had expected them to win.

I'm done worrying about who doesn't come or what they do when they do come.
.
This years sells next years tickets. Ending well, sells next year. I know that sounds like front running, it is. But it is the reality that UCONN is still Building a fan base. The folks, and I am one, who go to the games now, are not the targeted market. The stay at homes are.I'll say this, I underdressed, I threw on a lite jacket over a polo shirt and was so cold my back hurt. How cold was it last night. I was happy on the walk back to the car Ill tell you that.
Not sure it is a CT problem but a problem in general around most (not all ) college football teams. Watching the NCState vs Clemson game. Mid 3rd quarter NCSTATE just cuts it to 6pts and announcer wondering why so many people have left game. If Clemson pulls away there will be nobody in stadium by mid 4th quarterYeah I said I said it sue me. CT is such a fair weather state go I'm just telling it like it is.
