When they started off, I thought the mojo was back. Even with the score tied it wasn't because they were making the mistakes of the past few games. But after 8-8 their play could only be described as ragged until halftime. Then the 12-minute (wall time) scoreless period in the 3rd quarter. Then another 3 minutes of nothing after a score. Down by 9 at the end of the 3rd! Then, finally, a coherent 4th quarter, made luminous for me by Caroline's excellent play -- especially her offense. I am so happy for her. But it took my stomach a while to settle after that. Onward.
