When a group of knowledgeable fans (not from the Boneyard obviously) discover a conspiracy, it is up to HuskyBill to check it out. The conspiracy is that the officials in UConn games, do everything in their power to keep UConn players in the game by not calling fouls on them. Instead they would call more fouls on the opponents. This strategy would show up most often in the games UConn lost as the officials did everything in their power to give UConn the win.
If the conspiracy is true, it's a wide spread one. 13 officials reffed the 5 games the Huskies lost. DeMayo and Brooks reffed two each. The other refs were Blauch, Spence, Inouye, Mattingly, Grinter, Dickerson, Lynch, Dean, Vassily, Kantner and Steratore.
In the 5 losses, the huskies were called for only 80 fouls whereas the opponents were whistled for 63. UConn shot 40-57 from the foul line while the winners were 79-99. Maybe the conspiracy was in the other direction.
