The Coach Derrick Henry Thanked Most

We sometimes forget who a player feels closest to on a football team. While Derrick Henry was respectful in thanking Nick Saban, he was extremely effusive and emotional when thanking Coach Burns, his position coach. He also went out of his way to thank and heap praise on Scott Cochran, his strength and conditioning coach. I''ve heard other inspirational Heisman speeches but never one where the winner expressed such genuine love for and gave heartfelt credit by name to all the assistant coaches who gave him guidance and touched his life.

I bet the Donald Browns, Terry Caulleys, Andre Dixons, Cornell Brockingtons, Robbie Freys of the world had a similar feeling with Terry Richardson.

I think it's important to have a RB coach that actually focuses on RBs...
