1) I would guess ND by high-single to low-double digits. But you never know with a team that shoots 3s as frequently as DePaul. Last year DePaul gave ND fits at DePaul but ND won comfortably (after a rocky start) at home in the tournament. My prediction would be significantly different were the game in Chicago rather than South Bend. It will be interesting to see how ND defends. Part of the problem in game at DePaul last year was that ND had no rim protection so it was a layup line. Will be interesting to see how ND addresses that problem against DePaul's quick guards.

2) Depaul's season average is about 32% although that may go up, they were closer to 35% last year. ND is shooting a scorching 45%; they were around 38% last year. So I'd say DePaul around 35% and ND around 40%

3)I would expect both teams to be on high alert for the 3 point shot. They know each other very well.

1, I give Doug a 50 50 chance Let Carnac do the mental prognostication, not me.
2. I expect ND to do a lot of 3-2 zone to slow up the 3 shooters and rebound misses quickly--with Mabrey2 mad dashing up the floor for layups. That will be the key--. If one can make the 3 consistently--the tilt goes to them. ND has the advantage on rebounds. It should be fun to watch--I'm happy I have a one button switch back and forth between channels.

You've created an indelible image -- and phrase -- for me: Mabrey either grabbing a long rebound and weaving her way through traffic or taking an outlet from Hannah Huffman and doing the same, ponytail flying, "Mab-dashing" right to the hoop, either lefty or righty.

As Orangutan said, these two teams know each other well. In fact, the two ND frosh -- Mab-dasher and Arike -- might be key because they're new to the mix.

BTW, DePaul's Doug Bruno has immersed himself into the rich New Jersey Shore Girls Basketball World (where the Mabreys, among others have come from) and has recruited Kelly Campbell of St. John Vianney, a 5'9"guard who has can let it rip from 3, drive the floor and is uber-competitive on both ends of the court. As a junior last year, she was first-team all-state along with then-senior Marina Mabrey.

ND IMO will win this game by a comfortable margin because it's at ND. I don't think DePaul's defense is strong enough.
