Holy crap - I somehow missed that CCSU finished DEAD LAST (351) in both RPI and kenpom. talk about a resume anchor!!!

Just for giggles, figure about 5 points worth improvement for every 50 or so RPI slots higher team we would replace CCSU with. Beating QU (291), for example, gets us to RPI 52 / SOS 52. Fairfield (138)? 40 / 43. How much would we love those few slots right now?

Keep blaming the RPI. Obviously part of the duck UConn conspiracy

Playing teams ranked in 300's is a long standing UConn tradition.

Playing teams ranked in 300's is a long standing UConn tradition.

So was being ranked wire to wire, frequently in the Top 10, and playing Top 25/50 teams every week in a good conference. In that era, scheduling RPI-killing games didn't matter. It does now.

No one is using RPI as a rationale for UConn being 'duck'ed. We're blaming the school for scheduling 300+ RPI teams. There's LITERALLY nothing to gain and everything to lose when scheduling versus those teams... and I'm not talking about the outcome of the game itself.

Personally I was happy for the CCSU game

I only made it to 3 home games this year:

CCSU
Temple
Cincinati
