If I didn't see both movies in a pairing, I didn't vote in that pairing. That would bring the sum down if others did the same.

It requires people to follow the rules. Voting on every match up and not voting for both movies in a single match up.

When making the polls, there is no actual way to split the choices into pairs. You can only list out all the choices and give people a possible 8 choices. The percentages are out of the total number of voters.

Ignore the matchups as I put them together. At the moment The Dark Knight has 15 votes out of a total of 31 voters, whether all 31 made a vote for or against at all, 15 / 31 = 48.4%.

I wasn't suggesting that you didn't follow directions; but if the percentages for a given pair don't add up to 100%, I *think* that means that someone didn't.
