This is the greatest introduction of #1 in WNBA history and we get a snippet. Makes me want to live in the USSR...almost, nope, but the clever will get my drift. I know we would have no WPBB without their subsidy from the NBA, but it makes me crazy the penny antey limitations imposed by the pencil d**ks in the NBA which limit the growth of the women's professional game. Then there is the absolute fact that being a UConn woman baller will be the best 4 years of your balling career and set you up for high draft choices and Europe and ... there is that conciliation I suppose.

Side note - nice to see Courtney williams with some great numbers - she started for Phx, played 25 minutes, scored 15 points, grabbed 7 boards, and shot 60%. Not too shabby. Of course she did pick up 5 fouls but hey - it's a great start. I think Phx is thrilled they landed her.

The big-3 are finding that making shots in the pros are a wee-bit bit tougher than against UConn opponents.

Wera any of you above at the game tonight? Moriah was awesome. I think she had 6 assists and was involved in some steals. She was flying all over, and totally looked in control and looked like she belonged out there. Morgan also played well. Took open shots and just wasn't hitting. But she was comfortable, good defensively too and the team did well with her on the court. She played a lot of minutes.
