They made a good showing all year. It just didn't stop many here from choosing to pretend it wasn't happening.
Of the five teams (counting LaSalle) that are going to be among the final 32, unfortunately, two of them are on the way out (Temple and Butler) and a third, Saint Louis, may be if the C-7 goes from 10 to 12 after thinking about it. Just like the death of the Big East is a shame, the wounding of what has been the East's #2 conference is also a shame.
There was a period in the mid 90s when it looked like the A-10 had passed the Big East. This was back when UMass was relevant and UConn was carrying the Big East almost alone.

Even scarier: Philly thinks its relevant again. A win by Nova puts LaSalle, Temple and Nova in the round of 32. It's not Tom Goya and Rollie Massamino and the Philly pipeline that brought Chaney Philly City Star players but its still a decent year.
So the A-10 is doing better then the BE and the C7? I know Lville has a shot to make some waves (which I am fine with) - but other then that looks like "we" are holding our own. I just do not see Quse doing much more then winning another game- if that.
