I am so stoked for this event from our beloved Huskies perspective. I feel a real buzz. With low expectations, no postseason, the retirement of our Hall of Fame coach, and APR bs, this event is exactly what us Husky fans need and deserve. I hope like hell we give it to MSU, but if we lose, I think it will be a valuable bonding and chemistry building experience for our team. Can't wait and......

Go Huskies!

I think this has a high likelihood of being a difficult game to watch, we just have no interior presence to speak of(i pray to the basketball 3 point gods that they don't curse as they have the past i don't know how many seasons). Doesn't matter how hard you play if the other team is getting dunks, layups and +1s it's probably going to look bad and it'll be up to KO to make it into a positive for the team.

Huh?? What makes you believe it really is going to be that easy for Michigan State? I realize we have some thin front liners but it's not like that team is loaded with the best front court. I'm just thinking despite the size advantage our guys will show up and hang around the lag a little rather than giving up "dunks , and 1's...." without defending...........

Ohh no I imagine they'll be defending, but I'm not so sure Olander and Daniels are equipped to handle a Tom Izzo coached team that is probably going to be good(not that this takes much away from their talent/ability). I'm always pessimistic, and ready to be pleasantly surprised.

If it's reverse psychology I love it.......but I hope you're not right!! Are you waving any wands or throwing powder at the TV while watching?:D

I do, but not when I'm watching basketball. Also for some reason it turns out it's really hard for women to understand this habit. Although i'm a saint because i've never complained about being told to get ready and then having to wait 35 minutes with my dress clothes on while she has decided to make her exit from the bathroom Andy Dufresne style(I let my imagination wander in assuming this since I'm bored waving wands and throwing powder at the TV while not being able to sit down so as not to not ruin a crease that someone ironed which i didn't even ask for).

Bump.

Just wanted to say what a wonderful event! It doesn't hurt that we won, and what a patriotic experience in the sports world!
