The question: How long before announcement day did Chrystin know her decision? Some close friends knew too. They kept the dog and the chicken in the dark though.

In ceremony at Arkansas high school, No. 1-ranked women's basketball recruit chooses UConn

"Williams said her teammates came up with the idea to bring a husky to the signing. Akino was on loan from Nate Albertson, a senior member of the CAC boys basketball team.

"When we asked [Albertson] about bringing the dog, we told him we were bringing a chicken, too," Williams said. "So he had no idea. We tricked him, basically."

The best part of the article comes from her friend and team mate:

"She's amazing to play with," Davis said. "We've been teammates since we were in the third grade, and while her game has changed, her personality hasn't. She remains humble.

"She's always unselfish with the ball and always includes us in the game. It's never just about her. It's all about the team."

Dang wish Louisville had her. She’s what they need. If Louisville loses tomorrow to Ohio State it will mean 10 straight losses to top 15 teams for Cards. (Teams who finished in top 15 at end of year). That’s if they lose and if Ohio State ends season ranked in top 15.

So essentially, she made her decision years ago after her first visit to Storrs. Yep, she's been in our pocket, and we fans were fretting all for nothing. It was just reconfirmed during her visit with ONO. This young lady has been a long time Husky.

If you do the math, that three weeks means she made her mind up during her official visit. That's consistent with her statement that she felt at home in her first visit and felt the same in her second and that gave her her answer.

Ok. If I am ONO and I am on a visit with a friend who by these new indications is basking in the environment of UConn and probably smiling and beaming during her visit, that may push the needle a wee bit. I know it is speculation but speculation is harmless (unless you are betting) and fun.

Dang! ...clean version. The uncensored one features a lady with more than a passing resemblance to our current Williams. -enjoy, just one one more night.
