I also know he’s dealing with a “new” team this year, but let’s not absolve him of his role in that exodus. He recruited the kids and he either miscalculated their mental and physical tools or the kids completely changed after they arrived - possible, not probable. It’s a tough go right now and while it’s unlikely that the program can experience the consistent heights the programs was blessed with in the past it’s not unreasonable to expect some level of success (NCAA tourney appearances, and an occasional deep run).
