Title: "Purple Pros" (almost as corny as the cover, "Peaking Duck," referring to the Oregon QB, Marcus Mariota), since all three Phoenix players are in road uniforms. The sidebar reminds readers that "Taurasi scored 14 of Phoenix's last 20 points in the 87-82 victory."

On page 30, Andrew Lawrence makes "The Case for The WNBA," a well-written article promoting the sport we love. I can't resist repeating one quote: "The series belonged to Finals MVP Diana Taurasi. . . ."
Yes, I am biased. So deal with it.
