Their lone loss was at UCLA, 82-68, on Nov. 18, when neither coach Kim Mulkey (family issue) nor starting forward Lauren Cox (illness) were on the trip."

If anyone has paid attention to how the committee has evaluated Maryland the last two years, the Baylor placement should come as no surprise. Weak scheduling + a lack of quality wins = low seeding. Pretty simple.
