Three undefeated teams in women's basketball all projected No. 1 seeds in NCAA's first reveal of top 16 UConn, Miss. St., UL, Oregon No. 1 in top 16

Anyone call Oregon?

"Perhaps the biggest surprise in positioning of the top 16 is Baylor at No. 9. The Lady Bears have blown through all their opponents except one, winning by an average margin of 35.7 points. Their lone loss was at UCLA, 82-68, on Nov. 18, when neither coach Kim Mulkey (family issue) nor starting forward Lauren Cox (illness) were on the trip."

I'm not surprised.

Let the debates begin...

I had Oregon at #5 overall. So almost ;)

If anyone has paid attention to how the committee has evaluated Maryland the last two years, the Baylor placement should come as no surprise. Weak scheduling + a lack of quality wins = low seeding. Pretty simple.
