God chose the non-rapist. Good, otherwise I would start to think that the world really is going to end this year.

Your arms are too short to box with Jesus, Ben Roethlisberger!

Unfortunately for the Broncos, Tom Brady's arms are probably long enough and then some.

That Steelers cornerback will be having nightmares about that stiff arm for some time.

God's Chosen One just pinned well over 400 yards on the NFL's best defense. A fumble late kept the Squeelers in it. Otherwise, they were dominated.

Brady is awesome - top 10 QB ever already. I'm a Pats fan, being from CT.

But I wouldn't bet the farm on NE on Sunday. Especially not on Sunday.

Tebow played well - no doubt. Haven't been a big Tebow guy through this whole run, but even if Pittsburgh had kicked a FG at the end and they lost, it wouldn't have been his fault. He was accurate down the field and added another dimension to their offense at the right time, just when it looked like they were on their way to another 3-and-out fest in the first quarter.

Last play was the right play against the right defense - the CB must have thought he had help over the middle, but the safety was up at the line of scrimmage. When Tebow saw that, he knew he could go to his first read. Good throw to get him in stride. Sort of foolish by Pittsburgh to throw nine in the box on the first play of overtime - give up a 5-6 yard run before you lose the game in one play.

The miracle might have come when the D-lineman, falling down, was able to reach his hand out and knock the ball out of the rapist's hands (uh, that's "therapists", Sean) and kill any FG chances.

Eh - Broncos season ends next week. After the Pats wiped them out in Denver there was a headline that read: God loves Tom too.

The AFC matchups are actually not very compelling. NFC ones look outstanding.

TBlow sucks.

What did the Steelers do decide not to show up?

Even with a POS QB like TBlow you have to show up

Come on - no matter how much you hate, you have to give credit when it's deserved:
10 for 21 - 316 yards, 2 TDs, 0 Ints, 125.6 rating, 10 carries for 50 yards w/ 1 TD against the best defense in the NFL.

Hate him all you want - he was poised, smart and effective against a stout D (which did suffer several injuries).

He also made some elite NFL QB quality throws. I didn't expect as much as he delivered.

It should be safe for you to wager. The NE-Denver game is Saturday night. :)

If I had a farm I would bet it. Brady is home and has 2 weeks to prep.

Will be curious to see what the weather is. Put some bad wintry conditions out there and the NE passing game becomes less effective, and Tebow might be more effective on QB draws and things.

Tebow certainly deserves some credit, but let's not go overboard. This was a defesnse missing Kiesel, Hampton, and Ryan Clark. Also, they pretty much put 8-9 guys in the box all game. Tebow made the throws he had to, but any decent QB would have lit the Steelers up with the protection he was getting.

The Broncos can definitely put some points up on the Patriots, but can they put up enough? It is going to take a much better effort from the Denver defense, that much is obvious. Denver would be well served to limit the possesions by running the ball and contolling the clock.

That's a good point. If it snows hard, suddenly that line moves to six or seven, despite the fact that Brady has experience in the snow.

Steelers sold out on the run, banking that Tebow couldnt hit the broad side of a barn (which he couldnt for most of this season), and he completely toasted them on it. Then, in second half, they pounded the ball on the ground with some well timed passes. Frankly the Broncos should have won by more. The 1st Steelers TD had a fumbled lateral on their own 18 ruled an incomplete pass. Then a dumb offensive PI brought back a 1st a goal on the 2, forcing the FG for the broncos in the 4Q. That said, New England should be big favorites next week, but I'll be rooting for the Broncos.

Even against the Pats' shaky D, can't see Denver being able to score consistently enough to keep up with Brady and that offense.

Same.

The Steelers left no safeties back the entire time. Through OT, even, after being burnt again and again. Tebow played great and all, but still completed less than half of his passes and only 10 total. You aren't going average 31.6 yards per completion often. It's not something you can bank on.

The Steelers just gave Bill Belichick the blueprint for what NOT to do against Tebow. Wouldn't be surprised if Tebow looks more like he did against KC and Buffalo again.

Forget Tebow, the Patriots are just a hell of a lot better than the Broncos are.

Credit to Tebow and the Broncos, though, they have put a lot of life into the NFL season this year.
