Everything we just achieved and whatever it means for our future both in recruiting and helping with ultimate conference affiliation would have been dashed had we not made this deep run in the Tourney with all of its attendant publicity. High school players all across the nation got to know Kevin Ollie and hear how he's revered by many of the NBA elite. They also got to hear his confidence. When interviewed last night at halftime he was asked this question: "KY is a second half team, how will you deal with that?" His immediate answer: "We're a second half team, too!
Imagine how you feel tonight. Now imagine Brimah missing the put-back or that must make free throw to tie St Joes. That's a very scary thought. Thank you sir.
