While Georgetown waned into insignificance you built a powerhouse that rose to serve as a foe and foil to Syracuse. Without that rivalry to follow SU/Gtown , the Big East may well have waned. In many ways you surpassed SU and our coach Jim. You and he orchestrated the greatest college game of the era, maybe of all time. I will be sad that our last BE game against UCONN will not see you on the court. I hope you are as succesful in retirement as you were in coaching.
