The team was very, very close to winning this game in regulation -- a rebound away -- but the more experienced and better team won the overtime period. An outstanding year and UConn has much to be excited about next year and beyond.

It was a thrilling game; both teams played their hearts and bodies out (kudos to the refs for allowing it).
I hope Notre Dame enjoys it, because its going to be a long, long time before they beat us again.

An awesome year of highs and lows, amazing moments and real growth. A tremendous amount of fun and most of all the greatest kids.

It was just awesome, best of all no 10 losses and amazing how many Yarders were right about just how far this team would go saying 2-4 losses before the tournaments and go to the FF.

One has to love it all and to enjoy the ride now because dominance is around the corner.

This season seemed to gain momentum, drama and excitement as each game was played. Last night's overtime loss saw my heart rate go higher than it does on the treadmill.

This group has made me not only proud but confident of an even more exciting season next year!

The BEST is yet to come!

It will be just plain fun watching next year’s team develop and learn to play together. The journey is at least as much fun as the destination, true for this year, and it will be for next year as well. Indeed, Three Freshman Musketeers will supplement a foundation of experience…we will need more and lager bandwagons.

The grass seems greener this morn, the future is bright, hope we all have the health to enjoy such. Thanks to all BoneYarders for the schmooze you provided.

Mark Twain once said: "Good judgment comes from experience. Experience consists of bad judgment."

In the final analysis, Notre Dame had a big edge in experience (those seniors, especially the "5th year" ones, know what it's like to get smoked by UConn) and that seemed to give them that ever-so-slight edge.

Next year they lose that experience advantage as Bria and Stef and Kaleena and Kiah and Kelly will be better and smarter -- with some solid reinforcements coming in.

I could not have been more pleased with this year's team. Next year I hope to enjoy the satisfaction that comes with NC #8.
