Serge Ibaka out for most likely the remainder of the post season. Thabeet may get some serious minutes if Thunder big men get into any kind of foul trouble. Here's hoping the kid steps up if needed. Tough to root against the Spurs but you have to root for the UConn Thunder!

I can't see Thabeet getting serious minutes under any circumstances.

If anything, this may force Brooks to go small most of the time, which could mean more minutes for Perry Jones and Lamb. It never made sense that they fell completely out of the rotation, but I think one or both could inject some badly needed energy into the Thunder's bench.

I don't see Thabeet getting a lot of pt. They have 3 bigs they can rotate and perhaps Lamb can get some pt to help stretch the floor

Like the Thabeet part...not sure why it is tough to root against the Spurs...no UConn players & more probably the most egregious floppers of any team (Ginobili, Parker (plus gets away with 4 steps routinely), Diaw etc.)

I like the bluntness of Popovich, but other than that, I could easily live without the Spurs.

I've hated the spurs for a decade, especially that flopper ginobili. I still think this wont be a SAS sweep, OKC still has two superstars as well as the burgeoning Steven Adams. However, I'm worried if Brooks goes small with KD at the 4, Popovich will just insert Leonard at the 4 and increase the three point spacing for Parkers PnR's. Perkins, Perry Jones, Adams, and Collison... all REALLY gotta step up. The ibaka injury plain old sucks.

Thabeet has the potential to be disruptive on D when he wants to,but totally lacks an offensive presence.
