Go Wildcats, KSU..KSU..KSU!

I am not sure if my biasness against TT and strong dislike of Marlene Stollings is apparent...

Remember when Tech was undefeated? :p

To be fair, Tech is an improved team. They just exploded all over Oklahoma State for a program-record 20 three-pointers.

If it wasn't for their #351 (dead last) OOC schedule, they might actually have a shot at an NCAA bid.

Tech leads 19-18 after 1Q.

The bigs are doing the scoring. Brewer has 12 for Tech. Freshman Ayoka Lee has 10 for KSU, but she picked up her 2nd foul with 1 second left in the quarter.

38-30 Tech at the half

Brewer 12 pts, 4 reb, 4 stl

There was an awkward collision early in 3Q between Brittany Brewer and K-State guard Angela Harris. Brewer appeared to injure her elbow (perhaps a hyper-extension). Both players went to the bench to be examined.

Tech leads 40-30 early in 3Q.

Lexi Gordon now on the bench with 4 fouls.
Brewer is in the game but with a wrap on her elbow.

How did Ayoka Lee fall so under the radar? Very impressive, and has been doing it all season.

In this game there’s a Christianna Carr for KSU (Minnesota girl) and there’s a Chrislyn Carr for TTU.

Brewer played the 4th quarter but was clearly affected by the arm injury. Hope she'll be okay.

K-State completes the season sweep of Tech with a dominant 4th quarter (31-15). Ayoka Lee was outstanding, 24 points and 4 blocks. Angela Harris, the transfer from Houston, also had a great game: 18 points, 6 assists, 3 steals.

I wonder if Jeff Mittie gets his team to the WNIT, will he take another job and bolt without saying goodbye to his players?

Thank you Jeff Mittie! Now for the postgame presser part of our nights entertainment...

I commented on how good Lee looked and some poster said it was because she had not played against good competition. I wondered how her stats were so much better than Liv's. I had to tell them Lee's competition for the most part has been just as good as UConn's, not including Baylor. UConn had not yet played Oregon.

I find it amusing how fast and far TTU has fallen. 4 words... UN - DE - FEA - TED as the TTU coach Stollings extolled in her interview. But they got sick feasting on cupcakes and have been vomiting up poor performances against the rest of the Big 12. Now the league is feasting on them.

They are currently 8th in a 10 team conference and I don't see how they make the NCAA's. maybe if they are lucky, the NIT...

TTU and Kansas--22-0 combined in OOC, 4-15 in Big 12.

They went to the Kim Mulkey school of scheduling, and then took it to another level.

The small difference being that Mulkey recruits at a level that allows her to be competitive nationally, regardless of her OOC scheduling.

AS noted ad nauseam, as a leader of the WCBB family, Kim needes to be doing more to promote the game with top competition against the likes of Stanford, Oregon, ND (when they WERE GOOD), Oregon St and the like instead of Houston Baptist, Lamar, Arkansas State ALL AT HOME NO LESS.
