On this night of the McGregor-Cerrone fight, I can’t wait to hear what our resident “no holds barred” commentator @DefenseBB has to say about this result :D

67-50 KAN final

Tech only had one player in double digit scoring.

Early on when league play starter announcers were SO impressed with TTU finishing their non-conference schedule undefeated. I guess playing Prarie View, Purdue Fort-Wayne, Northwestern State, Florida A&M, Arkansas Pine-Bluff, etc. does not prepare you to play ANYONE in your league (or anyone with a RPI better than 200 for that matter).

Stollings coined the motto “Movement to March” for this season and said their goal was to make the NCAA tournament. I wonder if any team has ever played the dead worst OOC schedule and still made the NCAAs.

Is theirs the worst? I don't know what games on their schedule they expect to win going forward, but they play WVU, Baylor, and Oklahoma twice - I could see them losing 10-12 games in their league. No way to they make the NCAA's with even 10 league losses. They should end up with a super low RPI given their horribly weak non conference schedule.

Maybe try again a little bit harder next year, Coach Stollings...

I was in a win/win situation as both these coaches put together atrocious OOC, with Brandon trying to gain wins to keep his job. Marlene has regularly done this type of scheduling for years. Now that arguably the worst team in the Big10 just won their first game of the conference over the "wonderful" Texas Tech squad, I just need to know when Massey updates so I can watch the ratings change as TT is now holding on for dear life above the Wildcats, who really aren't the worst team in the Big12. If you are going to ring the bell like Pavlov's dog on me, the least you could do would be to attached the radio recap and interview with Marlene...

Isn't the key word issue, "make"? There is NO WAY, NO HOW, this team is making the NCAA's. WarrenNolan has their RPI ranked at #179 with the loss. They are 1-3 against quadrant 1 and 2 schools, of the 16 game this year, only 4 have been against Q1/Q2 schools and they stink against them!!!!
Ok, rant over. Now looking forward to more ACC and PAC12 Carnage tomorrow...Go Hurricanes!!!!

Another L for Texas Tech? I thought the Red Raiders were back, guess that isn't the case.
