Texas State Tourney

I'm heading to Austin this weekend for the state tournament. Playing on Friday in separate games are Duncanville, featuring Ariel Atkins (Hoopgurlz #4 and Texas commit) and Manvel, featuring Brianna Turner (Hoopgurzl #2 and ND commit) and Jordan Hosey (Hoopgurlz 2015 #3 and Texas commit) . There should be some high quality basketball on display. It kills me to see these two top talents not heading to Baylor.

I wonder if UCONN will have anyone there watching any of the games since they are making a Texas swing. Duncanville is loaded with talent every year and produces numerous D1 players.

Probably a good bet that at least on of the coaches will make the trip though it is a long time from game to weekend so likely it would be a separate trip. (Also not sure ... is this an open viewing window or not?)

East , try to take some notes and let us know how the stars shine if you can.

Also , I would suspect that a UConn coach will be present. If just to show the school colors and insignia to prospective players for next year. Texas is a fertile state for prospects.
