I realize I'm not answering the question here, but it's too bad UConn can't get the Dallas bracket in the tourney this year. Nice to have home court in Bridgeport, but a couple highlight games in Dallas would only help. Also think it's smart of Geno and Aston to have scheduled a home-and home between Texas and UConn over the next couple of seasons.
I also think the existence of Houston and SMU is one of the few redeeming qualities of the AAC.
Still don't get how the Lone Star kids can observe the great success of Moriah Jefferson in Storrs and think they can do better close to home. Texas programs have combined for five NCs (Texas 1986, Tech 1993, A&M 2011 in a fluke, Baylor 2005 and 2012) over 27 seasons, whereas Moriah might have four over four. A roster spot with the Silver Stars might just be the tipping point. At that juncture, how can you choose to be a Husky and have a better experience elsewhere as a WCBB player?
