Last year, the team won the games with crazy, down to the wire endings. I think there was a thread about it not too long ago.

In all those games, either Kemba did what the Cincy guy did, or the other team missed at the buzzer.

That brought uconn a NC.

This game pisses me off like everyone else, but I wouldn't trade any of last year's makes or misses for this game.

It just went against uconn this time.

I know this year is different and it's frustrating to lose after having high preseason expectations, but the team is very young and they are about a year away from being amazing. Hopefully they can play better this year and go on a mini run in the postseason, but it's possible they may not.

AND, I do not like Cincy, but they are riding a high right now and are a pretty decent team (I think they're the 'best loss' so far).

Yeah, Cincy was banking in 3 pointers. Hard to stop that. Long rebounds were momentum killers.

I will say that Cincy only had 5 turnovers four of which was committed by one person. Us, well we were in double digits again and Bazz had 5. If we take care of the ball better we win games like this.

Lastly I think we fans need to let last year go and move on. Not fair to compare the teams at this point, especially with this year's team in the midst of trying to 'find' an identity and its leader. Last year's team had an identity and leadership by this time. This team is struggling with those two important issues.

In this day and age of college basketball is being "young" really relevant?

Of course it is. It doesn't tell the whole story by any means, but only Kentucky has been consistently successful by featuring freshmen every season. Even they usually have more than one upperclassman, just as we did last year.

I thought it was an exciting game. This team is one year away from being spectacular and has exceeded my expectations especially SN. He is far ahead of the sophomore KW.

I'm not sure this is UConn's year. The thing that makes me say this is how frequently the UConn players hustle on defense stripping the ball or tipping the ball from opposing players and how often that ball ends up going into the hands of another opposing player. Just as last season most of the breaks were going UConn's way in critical games, last minute makes by UConn players and incredible number of misses by opposing players to win games in the last seconds, this season has the 180 degree opposite outcome. It is eerily similar to two years ago in that regards.
