American men, in general, don't have a long history of exhibiting high levels of fluency, maturity, and nuance on many high impact emotional issues, either on first impression, or as stories unfold. I see this time and again. It's a commonly discussed phenomenon, and I don't bring this up to be critical of anybody in particular.

In that context, I thought a decent majority saw things with clarity and sensitivity.

And just throwing it out there, if Cal either moves on, or is asked to move on at Kentucky, he could do worse than Texas.

For Cal, Texas does offer a nice campus and metro area, tough league, animated fan base, and a national brand.

Other names make good sense too.
